The Anniversary Massage — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of The Anniversary Massage

Episode 1 of The Anniversary Massage introduces a married couple and the masseuse the wife booked as an anniversary gift. It runs 65 seconds.

A married couple stand arm in arm in a room of white curtains and dusk light, laughing at each other, wedding rings visible. Behind them, beside a massage table, a woman in a black lace-trimmed dress waits patiently — sleek blonde bob, deep red lipstick, gold hoops. She is the anniversary present, booked by the wife for a ninety-minute session at home.

Episode 1 is pure setup and very good at it. The wife chats happily, the husband looks unsure, and the masseuse explains her approach with careful hand gestures and a smile that says more than her words. The fun is the geography: one partner on the table, the other working in the next room, and a door between them. Six episodes give the joke time to become a real test of the marriage.
