My Girlfriend Paid for My Happy Ending — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of My Girlfriend Paid for My Happy Ending

Episode 1 of My Girlfriend Paid for My Happy Ending is a couples' spa booking that splits Ben and Camilla into separate treatment rooms. It runs 53 seconds.

A light-oak reception desk, shelves of folded towels and a red-haired receptionist in a sage cardigan who smiles like she has read the booking notes. Ben's girlfriend Camilla, in a black cami with a brown shoulder bag, confirms the anniversary package; the receptionist's mouth falls open at whatever she adds at the end.

Episode 1 moves to a slatted-wood treatment room where a blonde masseuse pours oil across Ben's shoulders and smiles down at him. The premise is that Camilla booked the same experience for herself next door, and the wall is not soundproof. It is a playful, symmetrical setup that the five episodes take further. Compare it with The Anniversary Massage if you like the spa angle: here the couple are in on it together.
