Lodge 69 Was Double Booked — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of Lodge 69 Was Double Booked

Episode 1 of Lodge 69 Was Double Booked strands two couples in one ski cabin after a booking error neither will give up. It runs 81 seconds.

A log-walled ski lodge, a fire in a stone hearth and snowy pines outside the windows: the weekend should be perfect. Instead a redhead in a cream puffer jacket is frowning at her booking confirmation while her boyfriend closes his eyes in resignation, and across the room a blonde holds up a red bra from an open suitcase like a flag.

Two couples have rented the same cabin, and neither is leaving. Episode 1 is the awkward negotiation — who gets which room, who gives way on the sofa — and it ends with a door pushed open onto a dim bedroom and the blonde in a burgundy bikini smiling from the doorway. Five episodes turn a booking mix-up into a swap nobody planned. Good-natured, crowded and very snowed in.
