One Room with My Fiancée's Mother — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of One Room with My Fiancée's Mother

Episode 1 of One Room with My Fiancée's Mother is an overbooked hotel, three days before the wedding, with one bed for two. It runs 70 seconds.

You land three days before your wedding, drag your luggage through the hotel door and find the room already occupied. Your future mother-in-law is by the balcony, looking out at the sea, and the front desk has nothing else. Back home, your fiancée laughs on the phone and holds up her white dress, delighted that her mum is there to keep you company.

There is one bed. Episode 1 ends on the brunette pulling back the white sheet with a grin, and the poster — burgundy satin lingerie, warm low light — makes it clear that sharing will not stay polite. A five-episode countdown to the ceremony, it moves from seaside daylight to amber evening as the guilt piles up.
