My Stepdaughter's Boyfriend — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of My Stepdaughter's Boyfriend

Episode 1 of My Stepdaughter's Boyfriend moves from a shocked couple in a luxury bedroom to a champagne party in a palm-lined garden. It runs 78 seconds.

Episode 1 opens on a startled couple in a beige luxury bedroom — a silver-haired man in a white polo and an auburn-haired woman in a ribbed tank, her hand on his chest, both looking at something the camera has not yet shown. A close-up of him mid-exclamation follows. Something about the new boyfriend his daughter brought home has not gone to plan.

Out in a palm-lined garden the mood turns into a party: father and boyfriend shirtless with champagne, grinning for the camera, while Holly watches from the edge. The series flips the usual setup, telling the story from the boyfriend's side as he falls for his girlfriend's stepmother. Five episodes, sunny and glossy. The episode posters on Candy lean heavily on Holly, but the opener is mostly about the men.
