My Dad's Bride Wants Me First! — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of My Dad's Bride Wants Me First!

Episode 1 of My Dad's Bride Wants Me First! is a wedding-week farce in which the best man helps the bride with a zip. It runs 75 seconds.

The wedding is days away and you are the best man. In a cream-and-gold kitchen your father's bride leans on the counter in a satin robe over white lace, platinum hair, black-rimmed glasses and a wide, delighted smile. By the bedroom scene she is in a white lace mermaid gown, asking for help with the zip, the door half open behind her.

Episode 1 closes on the two of you face to face, almost kissing, while the house fills up with family. The series runs on the comedy of the wedding week — garters, fittings, a maid of honour who is just as forward — and on how little the bride cares that your dad is one room away. Five episodes, loud and gleeful, closer to farce than to tragedy.
