My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom

Episode 1 of My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom cuts from a night in a high-rise to a daytime kitchen and an awkward reunion. It runs 68 seconds.

Episode 1 starts at night in a high-rise apartment, city lights behind the glass, a dark-haired woman with sleeve tattoos in red lace pulling a stranger close by his shirt. Then a hard cut to daylight and a vintage kitchen, where the same man stands awkwardly beside his platinum-blonde girlfriend and her bouquet — and her mother, the woman from that night, is waiting for them.

The rest of the opener is the two of them pretending not to know each other while standing much too close: her hand on his chest, his eyes on the laundry-room door. It is a classic trapped-secret premise played with a lot of mischief, mostly thanks to the mother's grin. Five episodes, one rule: her daughter must not hear. Note that later episodes on Candy ask for more tokens than most series we list.
