My Son's Fiancée — Episode 1

What happens in episode 1 of My Son's Fiancée

Episode 1 of My Son's Fiancée keeps a future daughter-in-law and her fiancé's father in one bright living room, ten days before the wedding. It runs 50 seconds.

A Scandinavian-style living room, grey sofa, oak floors and a tall wood-framed mirror. Your son's fiancée stands in front of it in a white open-backed bodycon dress, winged liner sharp, smiling with her lips closed as if she has a question she already knows the answer to. She has moved in for the ten days before the wedding.

Episode 1 is about permission. She asks Mark's opinion on everything, turns so his hand lands on her lower back, then walks toward the camera across the whole room to make sure he is really looking. His wife is always one doorway away, which keeps the opener tense rather than explicit. Five episodes count down to the vows. A good pick if you prefer slow, suggestive scenes over farce.
